HS125 VH-CAO

DCA Hawker Siddeley HS.125 Srs. 1B VH-CAO (c/n 25015) at Adelaide/West Beach Airport at a date unknown, but thought to be in the late 1960s.

The second Control Tower atop the Terminal building, seen here, was replaced by a free-standing Tower in November 1982. Over the years, the Terminal was expanded out toward the camera and the Tower became submerged behind other parts of the building when viewed from airside. However it was still quite prominent when viewed from landside up until the Terminal and Tower were demolished in December 2008.
