These photos show the Radio Frequency (RF) units in the J2876 HF radio transmitter. In its later life the J2876 had, as here, three HF channels and one MF channel (usually used as an NDB). The tuning coils at the top of the units were the means of coupling the RF energy to the aerials via transmission lines.
