The photos above and below show the Passenger Terminal at Ballarat aerodrome, Victoria. The upper shot was taken in October 2008 and shows some vegetation removal since the shot below, taken in March 2005. Ballarat does not have any scheduled air services, however the terminal is used by charter operators as a meeting place for passengers.

The photograph below shows an over-view of Ballarat aerodrome looking south-south-east toward the City of Ballarat. The photo was taken in June 2007.

Ballarat aerodrome was developed during the Second World War as a major RAAF training base, initially as a school for Wireless Operators and Air Gunners under the Empire Air Training Scheme.
