Essendon Tower 2010

In 2010 Essendon Tower was given a 'facelift' with a re-paint into a heritage colour scheme similar to its original colours.

Furthermore, the 2008 extension of English St to link with Wirraway Rd, and thence to the new freeway entry to the airport from the north, means that the Tower is no longer isolated at the end of Wirraway Rd. Instead, this classic Tower now forms a prominent landmark alongside one of the main airport thoroughfares.
