CAHS Film Night

Historical aviation films from the Civil Aviation Historical Society's archive will be shown in our final Film Night for 2011 at the Airways Museum.

What films?	Vickers Vimy Documentary: A re-creation of Keith and Ross Smith's famous flight to Australia in 1919, using some original footage. 12 min, b&w, c.1970s Beaufort Assembly in Australia: Wartime film showing Beaufort construction by the Department of Aircraft Production, Beaufort Division. 20 mins, b&w, c.1943 Mystery Film Concorde First Official Flight: UK documentary. Feel the pride! 22 min, colour, 1969 Reporting is Safety: DCA film aimed at Aerodrome Reporting Officers. Lots of detail about running an aerodrome and many aircaft shots. 20 min, colour, c.1970.
