Much of the Exhibition is drawn from rare pre-War photos held in the CAHS' John G Walker and Ivan Hodder Collections. Johnny Walker was one of the original Aeradio Operators sent to Karumba, Qld, in 1938 whilst Ivan Hodder was a DCA Radio Engineer who helped to establish the Flying Boat Bases at Darwin, Groote Eylandt, Karumba and Sydney/Rose Bay (among others). |
