DCA Aircraft Logo - 1940s-1973

This version of the DCA logo was used on Departmental aircraft from the late 1940s through to November 1973 when the DCA was incorporated into the Department of Transport (click here for an organisational timeline). The logo incorporates the King's crown which, technically, should have been superseded in 1953 by the Queen's crown.
