On 17 August 1953 DCA DH82a Tiger Moth VH-CAF was sold to the Aero Club of Southern Tasmania, based at Hobart/Cambridge. It was re-registered as VH-BSE on 15 September and is seen here on a visit to Launceston/Western Junction shortly afterwards.

VH-BSE crashed near Cambridge Airport in 1962 and was damaged. Plans to restore it as VH-DVR were thwarted when it was damaged in a fire in 1967.
